Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, an award-winning resort in Bonita Springs, near the city of Naples, announces the completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation to its meeting and event spaces. The enhancements further elevate the resort’s one-stop destination event capabilities, blending sophisticated design with the serene beauty of its coastal surroundings. This renovation complements recent resort enhancements including updated rooms, lobby, water park, and restaurants, marking a full refresh of the property over the past three years.
“We are thrilled to announce the completion of an extensive meeting space renovation and welcoming our group guests for an unforgettable experience here in Southwest Florida,” said Rhett Wilson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa. “When guests visit, they can expect a fully updated experience complete with modern spaces, elegant dining experiences, and enhanced amenities.”
The newly completed meeting and event spaces feature natural, coastal-inspired tones with ocean blues, lush greens, and sandy beige accents. Updates include new carpeting, wall coverings, and artwork reflective of the resort’s setting. Event areas also showcase striking new lighting, such as an extravagant mesh chandelier reminiscent of a conch shell in Estero Ballroom and opalescent glass installations with silver accents throughout additional spaces.
The enhancements extend outdoors with a redesigned Calusa Ballroom Terrace, now outfitted with new pavers, lighting upgrades, and new integrated turf with redesigned landscaping providing an idyllic outdoor setting reminiscent of a tropical garden.
The project also updated the events registration desk area with a new digital signage display bordered by custom wood millwork. The meeting space restrooms have also been refreshed with a new color palette of stone tones, greens, and blues with updated wooden vanities and modern fixtures.
This project complements recent resort updates including a full guestroom renovation in 2022, the newly-designed Tarpon Bay restaurant and enhanced water park experience in 2023, and the debut of the renovated Tanglewood – A Southern Kitchen featuring an enhanced coastal design and new restaurant concept showcasing Southern-inspired cuisine in 2024.
Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa features 82,000 square-feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space. Outdoor spaces include the Belvedere Terrace backdropped by fountains and a waterfall; the Banyan Courtyard, a beautiful tropical garden featuring shady live oak trees and a charming circular fountain; and the Royal Palm and Cypress Courtyards which both feature sprawling lawns accented by towering palms.
Indoor spaces include the 14,000 square-foot Calusa Ballroom and Terrace, and the 7,000 square-foot Estero Ballroom and Terrace. The resort also offers several small and mid-sized spaces including the Blue Heron and Great Egret rooms, both featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with tropical views as well as The Cove private dining room at the resort’s signature fine dining restaurant, Tarpon Bay.
While on-site, groups can enjoy the resort’s private island, Big Hickory Island, which is part of the Estero Bay Ecological Preserve. Additionally, the resort partners with Global Works Events for off-site adventures including deep sea fishing, kayak excursions through the mangrove forests, catamaran and yacht tours, and historic trolley and bicycle tours of Downtown Naples.
