Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Villas, a newly renovated resort located on 300 scenic acres in the Texas Hill Country, completes a full renovation to its Windflower Spa. The renovation enhances the guest experience providing the ultimate in relaxation in an upscale ranch-style setting. The updates complement the resort’s ongoing enhancement project which includes the addition of five standalone luxury villas, completely transformed guestrooms and suites, and updated meeting spaces and restaurants.

The spa renovation added a 1,105 square-foot customizable event space, the Talpa room. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the spa’s tranquil outdoor pool, the new venue provides a dedicated area for groups to meet, connect, and take part in wellness-infused experiences and intentional gatherings.
Additionally, the spa’s pool was refinished and outfitted with new comfortable poolside lounge chairs, and the scenic outdoor relaxation area was updated with new landscaping and upgraded seating. The interior of the spa was updated with new fixtures, updated décor, and artwork. Additionally, the spa’s salon was updated with state-of-the-art pedicure and manicure stations.
Windflower Spa is located just steps from the resort’s brand-new luxury villas. Each 2,336-square-foot ranch-style villa features four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, spacious living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and two private patios with a firepit, grill and comfortable seating.
Guests who book a villa receive direct access to the spa’s premier amenities throughout their stay. The amenities include an outdoor relaxation area with a koi pond and comfortable Adirondack chairs, and peaceful daybed swings hanging from giant oak trees. Guests can also relax and de-stress in the spa’s whirlpool, eucalyptus steam room, and sauna.
Designed to pay tribute to the heritage of the Rogers-Wiseman Ranch and Texas Hill Country, the spa was created to reflect a traditional Texas barn. The barn structure was created using reclaimed wood from historic area barns and buildings including an abandoned drug store in Austin, a whiskey distillery, and the Timber Peanut Mill in Brady, TX. The traditional red barn exterior of Windflower Spa immediately transforms into an elegant spa reception area once guests walk through the door, blending the resort’s history with modern comforts and state-of-the-art amenities.
The spa’s treatments draw inspiration from the rich heritage and botanicals of the Texas Hill Country, designed to renew the body and mind. Popular services include Aunt Mary’s Herbal Remedies, named after one of the founding family members of the Rogers-Wiseman Ranch. The treatment includes aromatherapy, gentle exfoliation with body brushing, and a soothing massage. Additional services range from CBD-infused facials and massages to a deluxe pedicure retreat.
This spring, the resort will further enhance its on-site wellness experience with the debut of a 2.2-acre, man-made lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons® technology. The lagoon will transform Hyatt Regency Hill Country into an idyllic paradise complete with white sandy beaches, luxurious private cabanas, a variety of water sports and an additional poolside food and beverage venue. The lagoon will offer several wellbeing experiences ranging from standup paddle board yoga to mat Pilates and yoga on the beach.
