Mühlradl Apartments — Slow Living in the Alps

Mühlradl Apartments is a home away from home. Tucked in Austria’s luscious Gosau-am-Dachstein Valley, it sleeps up to 20 guests in five spacious apartments.

Offering a respite from the crush of tourists, yet only an hour’s drive from vibrant Salzburg, it promises a cocoon of privacy from the minute you step foot.  Picture sweeping Alpine views, charming brooks, and verdant foliage—all wrapped in an absence of noise that almost feels right.

The Space

built in the 1970s as a bar with a dance floor, Mühlradl Apartments has been lovingly transformed into an idyllic holiday abode. Nature is woven into every aspect with each corner reminiscent of a snug wooden cabin.

Savor the warmth of a cozy sauna, gather around the roaring fireplace and enjoy mornings of tranquility in its very own garden. Pour yourself a glass of vino from the wine cellar and bundle into the music room for an evening of indoor fun. Little ones also have a dedicated play area that will keep them entertained for hours.

The apartments are thoughtfully-designed with solace and simplicity in mind. Those with south-facing balconies boast unobstructed vistas of Gosaukamm. In the autumn season, you might even catch sight of deer and hares nibbling on apples across the fields!

Distinctive traditional designs are combined with modern amenities, including a private bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen and free parking. The decor blends locally-sourced materials, recycled elements and authentic artwork.

Serene Outdoors

With a wealth of outdoorsy beauty, this pet-friendly accommodation is a dream destination for nature lovers and adrenaline junkies.

Check-in for a relaxing holiday in the peaceful neighborhood of Gosau-Hintertal, in the picturesque Salzkammergut region of Dachstein West. From fishing and paragliding to mountain biking, there is a bounty of things to do.
