Outset Collection by Hilton Makes European Debut in Madrid

Hilton announced the opening of Casa Verbena Madrid, Outset Collection by Hilton, an intimate 45-room hotel on Calle de Preciados in the heart of the capital. With interiors by Madrid-born designer Lorenzo Castillo, views across the city’s rooftops and a traditional Madrileño breakfast each morning, guests are invited to experience a stay inspired by the rhythm of the city’s streets and the hearts of the people who live there.
Casa Verbena Madrid takes its name from the traditional Spanish verbena: a lively neighbourhood celebration that brings people together through food, music and shared traditions. The hotel also draws on costumbrismo, the Spanish artistic tradition of depicting local customs, characters and daily rituals, looking beyond the capital’s landmarks to the cafés, streets and squares that shape life for Madrileños.

Inside Casa Verbena Madrid
The hotel’s interiors reflect a distinctly local perspective on the city. Costumbrismo-inspired artwork, warm materials, fluted glass, brass finishes and layered textures reference Madrid’s architectural and cultural heritage in a contemporary way.

Many guest rooms look onto Preciados street and its typical Madrid façades, while Preciados Rooms open onto terraces with views across the city’s rooftops and towards the Royal Palace.
Each morning, guests can begin the day in the plush emerald dining room with a Madrileño breakfast featuring churros inspired by the capital’s historic churrería culture, pan con tomate with Iberian ham, Spanish tortilla, locally roasted coffee and freshly squeezed juice.
A Local Guide to the Capital
Helping guests discover the city’s local soul, Casa Verbena has worked with a local artist to create a seasonal illustrated insider’s guide to the capital. Available for guests, “Our Madrid” shares recommendations for cafés, shops, bars and neighbourhood addresses loved by locals.
